Glimpsy is a parental advisory platform that helps parents and guardians make more informed decisions about the media their children watch, read, and engage with.
We believe parents deserve better tools than a single age rating. Glimpsy goes further — analysing content for sensory intensity, emotional themes, positive values, and potential concerns, with a particular focus on families with neurodivergent children.
Glimpsy's Sensory Index is our signature feature. Using AI video analysis, we measure scene cut rates, colour intensity, edit pace, and audio stress levels from actual footage — giving parents a meaningful picture of how stimulating a piece of content really is, not just what age it's rated for.
Each Glimpsy assessment is generated using two AI models working in parallel — one analyses the actual video footage, the other analyses the synopsis, age rating, and metadata. Results are reviewed by our editorial team before publishing.
Our assessments focus on safety and educational themes and do not contain plot spoilers.
